Dashboards and Insights

GarmentFlow ships eleven analytical pages under Production, and each one answers a question you'll ask repeatedly. The trick is knowing which dashboard to reach for.

This hub groups them by purpose. Open the one that matches the question you're holding right now.

Getting there

Awesome bar: Cmd/Ctrl + K → type the dashboard name (e.g., production overview) → pick from the dropdown.

Click path: Desk → GarmentFlow → Production → Reports card → scroll to the dashboards section.

The questions, grouped

"What's the state of the floor right now?"Production overview — the KPI dashboard. Open it every morning.

"Where is a specific style / batch / order?"Where is it, flow, and bridge — three dashboards that answer "where is my work."

"What's running where, and is the load balanced?"Schedule and unit load — schedule view, capacity utilization.

"Did materials add up?"Materials tracking — materials dashboard, material reconciliation.

"What's going wrong, and is the data trustworthy?"Exceptions, audit, and handoff integrity — three dashboards for the things that need human attention.

Dashboards vs reports

A quick distinction:

  • Dashboards are visual. Charts, summaries, status chips. Good for "show me what's happening."
  • Reports are tabular. Rows and filters. Good for "give me a list I can export, sort, or share."

Both read from the same data. Most production managers live in dashboards day-to-day and reach for reports when they need to send a list to someone.

For tabular reports, see Production reports.
